Mainline
There are several different ways to mainline poly pipe.

Central Fusions Inc. prefers the fuse and pull method. This is the process of setting up pipe racks. For larger pipe, the racks are equipped with rollers on both sides, so two machines can fuse, which increases productivity.

Element Protection
Fusions must be protected from rain and windy conditions. Central Fusions Inc. uses shacks specifically designed to shelter the fusions.

Hot Tie Ins
Proper procedures are strictly adhered to when dealing with hot work, as related to static electricity produced in the fusion process.

Clean Fusions
All fusions are cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a lint free rag.

Temperature
Iron temperature is constantly monitored with heat gun to ensure proper temperature is maintained.

Pressures
Every size and thickness of pipe requires different pressures. These details are constantly monitored.

A log book is kept, reporting all variables for every fusion including:
